David Russell, chair of the EUdaphobase COST Action, was presenting EUdaphobase at the FAO Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity April 21, 2021. The presentation portrays the EUdaphobase Action, intending to stimulate interest by data providers, users and stakeholders. David Russell shows the potential of soil biodiversity databases such as edaphobase, with a well-developed standardization of data and vocabulary and a metadata set making the database useful for stakeholder use for soil protection.
